Comprehensive Support Services for Complex Orthopedics
Our board-certified orthopedic surgeons work with a team of interdisciplinary experts to provide complete medical counseling to patients throughout the treatment process.
We support patients from diagnosis through treatment decisions, surgical procedures and recovery.
Weekly Interdisciplinary Clinical Conferences
We hold regular clinical conferences to discuss patient cases with a team of surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, social workers, psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists and leading researchers. We’re also part of the Institute for Limb Preservation, a team of medical professionals with expertise in adult and pediatric oncology, microvascular plastic surgeons, pathology and neuromodulation for pain management.
These conferences offer an opportunity for physicians to present complex patient cases to a team of specialists with insight from various medical disciplines. Each patient has a team of leading experts developing a treatment plan to provide the patient with the best possible outcome.
Support Groups for Patient Challenges and Recovery
We host regular support groups for patients with challenging or complex treatment plans. For those with amputations or complex limb lengthening procedures, we provide patients with an opportunity to meet with a group of peers to discuss the treatment and suggest solutions for day-to-day challenges.
Our support groups are open to thriving or struggling treatment veterans, current patients and prospective patients of specific procedures. We encourage prospective patients to attend a support group and speak with previous and current patients while they consider the treatment options.
